This outdoor living pavilion was completed as part of a overall backyard transformation for a grand home on Schiller Park in the heart of German Village. The project brought together an exceptional team, including Aurora Industries as general contractor, Urban Order as architect, and Outdoor Space Design creating the surrounding landscape.
Our role was to seamlessly integrate the technology into the architecture, making the space as effortless to enjoy as it is beautiful. From a single control interface, the homeowners can operate the audio system, both televisions, overhead heaters, architectural lighting, and the landscape lighting throughout the grounds surrounding the pavilion.
For entertainment, we selected a pair of 55-inch SunBrite full-shade outdoor televisions. Because the pavilion is fully protected from direct sunlight, full-shade displays provide excellent picture quality while offering a significant cost savings over higher-brightness full-sun models.
Whether it’s hosting family gatherings, enjoying a quiet evening by the fireplace, or catching OSU football on a crisp Saturday afternoon, this outdoor room functions as a true extension of the home - comfortable, connected, and designed for year-round enjoyment.
